5 ways to shop smarter:

Grab amazon.coms daily deals, you might end up saving big on just this. The never ending parade of daily deals site hitting the internet might just not stop any time sooner. check local.amazon.com for local deals in your place from amazon. Not all city may be covered but its worth having a tab of it
One in every five deals go useless.

Check in and save:
Download facebook and foursquare apps in your smart phones. Check in when you go to a local store and you might get a special coupon for doing so, they offer the discount for letting your friends know where you are. Some of the discouns are like free yoga class, 20% off H&M. Foursquare hooks you up with groupon and other daily deals and works via text message, too. American express users can get deals directly to your phones, go to sync.americanexpress.com/foursquare

Stop impulse buying:
You might think you're smart enough when you shop with smart basket instead of usual shopping cart. But a study recently found that if you are holding basket, you're more likely to load it with impluse buys. In that study researchers asked grocery shoppers about what they bought. It revelaed those shoppers are more of impulse buyers. So to stick to your list, take the cart, buy smart and save smart. Look for online coupon codes everytime you shop online

Use a credit card that pays you a percentage of your spending back:
If you shop at target and dont have a debit or credit card, then you are missing a part of your money. the card can pay you 5% back and many have no annual fees. Our money pros also recommended these no fee cash back cards..

Buy and don't rent:
Never mind what Hulk hogan and Troy Aikman say on those rent a center ads. Renting to own is usually a bad idea and will not help you to save your money.Example: a toshiba laptop advertised for $38.99 a week for 48 weeks comes out to nearly $1872 before taxes and other cahrges. the actual cost of teh laptop is around $618, so by renting the laptop you are paying nearly three times its actual cost. Many states in the US are now passing laws to prevent consumers ffrom rental firms that charge heavily.
